Brad and I met at Core Fitness gym in Iowa City.  Soon after I graduated from dental school in 2008 we ventured off to McAllen, TX with our boston terrier, Winston. 

We quickly learned being away from family is not easy, but we wanted to experience a different part of the country.  In actuality we felt like we lived in another country! Wow! That was an experience! Fortunately for all of us, my job offered me a transfer to Austin.  Yeehaw!

We have lived in Austin since February 2009 and have called it our "home away from home."  We like it so much we decided to build a home and stay here a little bit longer. 

We enjoy spending time in our home, playing with Winston, and experiencing much that Austin has to offer.  In fact, we are now true Longhorn fans.......okay maybe not!  GO HAWKS!!

Brad and I have experienced a lot together these past few years.  Our relationship has made it through much more than we had ever anticipated.  With this in mind, we realized we are made to be together forever.  Life will bring us many more challenges that we will conquer, but also many more joyous moments that make it worth weathering the storm together.

We will be having a symbolic ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico on April 27 at sunset.  We look forward to having our close family and friends there with us physically and spiritually.
